Huang Shasha is a knitwear and fabric designer. She studied undergraduate fashion fabrics at the London Fashion Institute in the United Kingdom. In 2017, she obtained a master degree with a major in knitwear from the Royal College of Art. Her work has been shortlisted on Vogue Italia and Vogue Talents in 2014 and 2017. Her brand Swaying reflects the movement when the knitting machine and the body sway. It also represents the ease and joy of the designer’s knitting. Her work explores the inspiration behind and characterize the image of today’s modern women through the visual language, material juxtaposition and knitted structures. Swaying joined notSHOWROOM in 2019.
